Minimum: 4 and maximum 5 travellers in 1 vehicle; Maximum: 15 travellers in 3 vehicles.

Accommodation: Best standard of accommodation available in all locations. Mt Borradaile and the Cobourg Coastal Camps offer a high standard notwithstanding their remote and isolated locations. Just a few tourism permits have been granted by the traditional owners in Arnhem Land and these dictate that share facilities are available here, at close proximity to each safari tent.

Transport: All bus and boat transfers during the stated itinerary. Darwin Tour Tub Pass. Private GXL 4WD Toyota Land Cruisers (licensed to carry 7 passengers) for touring from Darwin through Kakadu, into Arnhem Land and the Cobourg Peninsula.

Meals: All meals included except lunch on Day 1.

Fees and permits: All National Park road fees, all royalties, Mt Borradaile fees, Kakadu, Arnhem Land and Cobourg Peninsula permits.

Travel folder: A travel tips sheet will be included and forwarded at time of final payment.

Tour Manager and Guides: Informative, experienced local tour guides will accompany the tour on Bathurst Island, at Injalak and throughout the 4WD touring itinerary. All have current first-aid accreditation.

Not included in the cost: Items of a personal nature.

Insurance: Travel insurance is a condition of travel and it is recommended that you purchase this at the time of booking. It is in your interest that it is comprehensive and includes cover for health, loss of luggage/belongings and in case of cancellation. At the time of final payment the insurance company and policy number details will be requested. Spirit of the Land Tours cannot be held responsible for tour program alterations due to flooding, Aboriginal Land closures, acts of nature, resultant missed flight connections, medical evacuations, damage to personal belongings. Outback travel is exciting, adventurous, dramatic, colourful – and unpredictable.

Changes to the itinerary: The tour price is based on tariffs, cost of land arrangements and airfares as known at time of application. Any changes to such tariffs or the imposition of new charges may necessitate an increase in the tour price up until final payment for the tour has been received. Once received, no surcharges will apply.

Forced cancellation: The tour price is based on a minimum tour membership of 4 persons. In the event that the minimum is not achieved a surcharge may be payable to enable the tour to proceed with fewer members. If such an event does occur you will be notified at the time of final payment, 60 days prior to departure.

Medical health and fitness: Please advise of any existing medical conditions or health and fitness issues that may affect you during the tour. On the booking form, please list the medications you require while on the tour. Walking and hiking on this tour is considered to be easy to moderately graded. Drinking water is carried at all times.
